Board of Directors Meeting - February 15, 2010

 

The BOD meeting was called to order at 6 pm by President Diane Reese at the home of Judy Barbaro - V.P.  Present at the meeting were Board Members Diane Reese, Judy Barbaro, Evelyn Nevins, Ken Rider, and Ray Tuholski.  Residents in attendance were Sarah Bowden and Bert Allen.

Insurance for the Board of Directors is in effect with All-In-One Insurance which submitted the low bid at $867,

 

Ray Tuholski met with Tom Curley of Southern Dock Design about the sea wall on the Back/Watson side of the canal.  In his opinion there is no danger to the road.  He indicated that he would submit a quote, but none has been received to date.  Marlene Conklin's husband has agreed to look at the sea wall and give us a second opinion.

The next annual meeting will be held from 5 to 8 pm, January 10, 2011, at the Silver Lake Church.

 

The revision of the By-Laws and the Articles of Incorporation will be addressed and updated after the revisions to the Deed Restrictions.

 

Items pertainig to Deed Restrictions which were discussed included:

1.  the number of members who must approve changes

2.  fences and barriers

3.  pet issues

4.  boat and trailer storage

5.  automotive repairs

6.  waste in the canal

7.  liens

 

Ken Rider will print the new Deed Restrictions and include a list of changes.  Individual owners will be contacted by board members for signatures.

 

No additional meetings were scheduled.

The meeting adjourned at 7:55 pm.
