The Western Shores November 22, 2010, BOD meeting was called to order by President Judy Barbaro at her home located at 34339 Island Drive at 6:17 p.m.
 
Present at the meeting were BOD of Director's Members:  Judy Barbaro, Evelyn Nevins, Ken Rider, Marlene Conklin and Ray Tuholski.
 
Resident in attendance was:  Thearon Sheidler.
 
Currently we have 44 signatures approving the new deed restrictions.  The target date for filing will be mid-December.  Residents who wish to sign and have not done so are urged to contact any board member immediately.
 
The annual meeting will be held at the Silver Lake Church on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m.  Coffee and donuts will be served.  All residents should receive in the mail the following information by mid-December:
  1. A ballot to elect new BOD members;
  2. A proxy form if you are unable to attend;
  3. A 55+ verification form;
  4. The proposed budget for 2011;
  5. A stamped envelope for returning your signed forms.
 
Thearon Sheidler and Marlene Conklin will be at the sign-in table at the annual Meeting.
 
Marlene Conklin and Ward Hungerford will assess Island Drive and Western Shores Lane and present their findings at the annual meeting.
 
The BOD voted to keep the account at the current bank and pay the new monthly fees. New checks were recently purchased and moving the account would require the purchase of new checks which would result in fees greater than the new bank charge.
 
The Aqua Utilities $600. charge last summer has not been resolved and the bill was not paid.  Water to the boat trailer lot has been shut off.  Judy will be contacting Aqua Utilities and make arrangements for a new meter to be installed as promised as there was no visible sign of a leak for the month we were charged $600.
